India not among 118 nations that pledged to push green energy

As many as 118 countries has signed a pledge to triple installed renewable energy capacity by 2030 during ongoing CoP 28 in Dubai .

India has not signed it . China which has world’s largest installed renewable energy capacity has also not signed it . US and Brazil two of the largest contributor of emission has signed it .

The renewable energy capacity by 2030 will be brought to be 11,000 Giga watt.

India during CoP 26 in Glasgow had committed to install 500 GW of energy from nin fissile fuels by 2030 .

By March 2023 , India has already installed 170 GW of capacity .

Modi , Muizzui agree to set up core group to further deepen ties

On the sidelines of CoP 28 in Dubai PM Modi had met his Maldivian counterpart , Mohammad Muizzu .

PM Modi held the partnership between the two leaders as “productive “ .

     India accounts for 66% of Malaria cases in Southeast Asia region .

     46% of all cases is due to Pakamidium Vivax

Malaysia has become the  latest country to allow Visa free entry to Indian . It will start 31 December . An Indian can stay there for a period of 30 days . Currently there are a total 26 countries offer free visa entry to Indian citizens .

Before Thailand it was Srilanka that had extended free Visa to Indian tourists .

The countries that offer travel without visa to Indian citizens include Napal , Bhutan and Fiji etc

The reason behind this is to look into increasing tourism .
