PM Narendra Modi has distributed portfolios among cabinet
ministers . Key portfolios has been kept unchanged .
The four biggest ministries that are part of Cabinet
Committee of Security ( CCS ) – Home
Defense , External Affairs and Finance has been kept unchanged by Amit Shah. ,
Rajnath Singh , S Jaishankar and Nirmala Sitharaman.
Portfolios of Nitin Gadkari , Piyush Goyal , Ashwani Vaishanaw have been kept unchanged
to Road Transport and highways , Commerce ,and Railways respectively .
Among the new entrants JP Nadda has been given Health and
Family welfare and chemicals and fertilisers . Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been
given Agriculture and farmers welfare .
Advance security convoy of Manipur CM attacked , two
policemen injured
An advance security convoy of Manipur CM N
Biren Singh was ambushed by unidetofied miscreants in Kangkongpki , leaving two
police personnel injured .
The convoy was on his way to violence hit Jiribam.

The PM said that his government was committed to the welfare
of farmers . “ It is fitting that the first file signed on taking charge is
related to farmers’ welfare . “
In its first major decision, the Union cabinet said to
provide assistance for building three crore more rural and urban houses under
Prime Minister Awas Yojna .
Hundreds from Manipur flee to Assam’s Cachar
More than six hundred people have sheltered in Assam’s
Cachar district after fleeing from Manipur’s Jiribam . Violence in Jiribam has resulted in several
houses torched and two police outpost gutted to fire . The refuge is being provided
adequate facilities by authorities .
Meanwhile ,
Manipur CM N Biren Singh has said that his government was
providing security to 4,000 migrant labourers working at various construction
sites .
Two labourers from Jharkhand was killed by insurgent groups
that had led many migrant labourers leaving Manipur .
Nawaz Sharif praises Modi for third term ,
asks to ‘ seize the opportunity ‘
The ruling PML – N chief of Pakistan , Nawaz Sharif on
Monday greeted PM Modi .
“ My warm fecilitation to Modiji on assuming office for a
third time . Your Party’s success in recent elections reflects the confidence
of the people in your leadership .Late us replace hate with hope and seize the
opportunity to two billion people of South Asia .” Mr Sharif said.
Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif also greeted PM on ‘X’.
Responding to the message PM Modi emphasised “ Peace ,
Security and Progressive ideas “ , and added “ Advancing the well being and
security of our people will always be out priority . “

North Korea has sent hundreds more Trash carrying balloons
to North Korea , Seol’s military has said .
Kim Jong Un ‘s sister warned South Korea that such things
